"The beauty of cherry blossoms lies in their impermanence, a fleeting moment of grace."

Every year crowds gather on the University of Washington campus to view the cherry blossoms. This weekend was the prime viewing window and while we couldn’t take the time to walk the entire route through the campus I was able to catch a glimpse with some help from my family. Their bloom is fleeting so today was the day!
You can learn the history of the trees here.

The Drumheller Fountain that sits in the center of this beautiful campus was mesmerizing.

The view looking away from the fountain was stunning. Of course, the daffodils were announcing that spring had arrived!

Coming here to see the cherry blossoms has been on my bucket list for many years. I finally made it. I think I needed to be more specific about the circumstances that would bring me to this campus. I am grateful to see such beauty no matter the circumstances. My only regret was that Scott was not by my side, but we have hope for another time.
"Cherry blossoms symbolize renewal, hope, and the promise of new beginnings."
