Creative Thursdays: Jigsaw Puzzles
Creative and playful ways to help the brain heal from trauma.

Some of those puzzles are more enjoyable than others. True of life and true of jigsaw puzzles. Yet, the thrill of opening the box is like that of beginning a new adventure.

Overall, puzzles can serve as a therapeutic tool by promoting relaxation, cognitive stimulation, empowerment, emotional regulation, and social engagement, all of which contribute to the healing process from childhood trauma.
