My phone is filled with spring pictures from previous years. Yet, I can't keep myself from taking more! Last year, I did not know what flowers would bloom at the cottage. This year, they greeted me like old friends who left for the winter. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “The earth laughs in Flowers.” I need laughter right now. So, I continue to take pictures. Just a few. It is just a beginning.

This week marked four months since Scott’s first ER visit. It was a week that was possibly more difficult in many ways than any other week. Maybe I am simply more exhausted and the daily slogging is becoming more exhausting. For whatever reason, I needed the earth to laugh . . . and possibly whistle?
"Spring is when you feel like whistling, even with a shoe full of slush."
—Doug Larson—
Remember to take care of yourself too. You can't pour from an empty cup.
Love the quote!
