News, Highlights from Previous Weeks, What’s Coming, and Other Stuff
The We Do Therapy series will conclude this week. It will return in some form at a future date. We intended to do more videos but life got in the way so we will plan to do that occasionally. There are other ideas percolating. . .
(The statistician in me is going to have a nerd moment here.) The Purple Elephant Trauma Series has generated quite a bit of interest! I realized the last newsletter Exploring Regulation & Resilience had an open rate of 42% (respectable) after being sent to 344 subscribers. That would mean that it was opened by around 145 people—BUT the page was viewed by 299. That means that it is being shared—one therapist did share with clients—and that Facebook followers are clicking on the page. Well, that means my dual posting is worth the effort and this is a series that is engaging people, even during this busy season! (See the entire series here.)
Again, for any of my readers who are not able to look forward to the holidays, I understand and for that reason, I will not overdo holiday content. If your story involves religious trauma, this article at the Religious Trauma Network might be helpful: Religious Trauma Recovery: Holiday Support
